ProFab includes direct CAD interfaces to AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, KeyCreator, and CADKEY. By installing a CAD interface, ProFab will add a button into the CAD software, which will directly pass the part geometry into ProFab. This eliminates the need to export a DXF file from your CAD system and import it into ProFab.
